Jane Carmondy was a resident of the Silo who was sent out to clean in the ninety-seventh year.
Throughout the series[edit | edit source]
On the 97th Year of the Silo, Jane Carmondy is sent out to clean. It is unknown whether her cleaning was by request, or as a punishment. The video of Jane's cleaning would eventually be discovered by George Wilkins and Allison Becker on the hard drive. When Allison and George viewed the recording, they saw a lush paradise outside with birds flying in the sky. This is the first time that Allison and George begin to think that everything within the Silo is not what it seems.
